I'm Not Sure I'm Ready...

I was 31 years old when I got married. It was a far cry from what I had always pictured when I was a girl growing up in little old Anson. I had always thought I would meet someone early on and begin the "baby making" as soon as possible, but that wasn't the road I went down. I spent 12 years in a stooper trying to find my fit and I actually had to travel all the way around the world before I found it.
I had taken a teaching position in Cheong Ju , South Korea. I still don't know what I was thinking when I said "YES" to moving there for a year! (That is a whole different story, that I may share some time!) I met my husband while I was in South Korea. Let me clarify that. He was in Grimsby England and I was in South Korea. We met online. Never did I think that I would meet the love of my life online! One year turned into two and I came back to the states at the end of 2001. Once I was here I began the task of getting Mick, my husband, over here. It wasn't until December of 2003 that we finally got a visa for him and in February of 2004 we were finally married. We began soon after dreaming of family and babies and began the process of "trying".
For almost 5 years we tried and had come to the conclusion that one of three things were going to happen. We were going to go into great debt to try IVF, we were goingt o go into debt and adopt, or we would simply be a couple that were childless. I was convinced it would be the later.
In May of 2008 and we had started t talk about trying to find a baby without a home. On the 30th of May we found out that we were going to have a baby!! Our sweet Emma Louise was born December 26th 2008 and she is the love our lives.
Now we are awaiting the birth of our second child. We have yet to find out what we are having, but I do know this, God knows exactly what we need. Yes, I didn't think that I would be having babies this close together, but, THANK YOU LORD!! We are having babies. I am a mommy and I thank God every day for trusting me with such an incredible job!
